During the snow season of 2025-2026, the number of tourists received by Jilin's ice and snow tourism increased by 16.1% year-on-year

On April 9, the "Youyou Jilin" WeChat official account released the news that Jilin Province's ice and snow tourism boom in the snow season of 2025 – 2026, with a number of data leading the country.  

According to big data calculations by UnionPay Business Company, during the snow season from November 2025 to March 2026, Jilin Province received 197 million tourists, a year-on-year increase of 16.1%, and the total travel expenses of tourists were 341.4 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 15.7%. At present, Jilin Province has 33 trailer cable cars, ranking first in the country in terms of ski reception and the number of national ski tourism resorts (5). The three major ski resorts of Beidahu, China Travel Service Songhua Lake, and Wanfengtonghua have all received over one million visitors, ranking among the top in the national industry.  

In addition, Jilin Province also held more than 800 characteristic ice and snow activities during this snow season. As of March 30th, the total transaction amount of ice and snow consumption vouchers reached 164 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 19.8%.
